Rdsb21.club claims that users have to allow its notifications in order to access a page, start a download, solve a CAPTCHA, or for some other reason. If a user turns on Rdsb21.club notifications, those will begin popping up from time to time in the top right or bottom right corner of the screen. Rdsb21.club notifications will advertise various shady and dubious sites, prompt users to download fake software updates, follow clickbait links, etc.

Check-this.news claims that users have to click Allow on its “Show notifications” pop-up box if they want to watch a video, download a file, open a page, etc. If a user clicks Allow, he or she will start getting notifications from Check-this.news in the top-right or bottom-right corner of the screen (or on the lockscreen if it’s an Android phone). Check-this.news notifications will promote shady sites and services, prompt users to download something or follow clickbait links, etc.
Yourwownewz.com is one of many dubious sites that try to convince users to allow notifications from those sites. Yourwownewz.com may claim that clicking Allow on its notifications confirmation pop-up box is necessary to access a page, watch a video, solve a CAPTCHA, etc. (see an example on the screenshot above). If someone does allow the site to show notifications, those will begin popping up periodically in a corner of the screen with ads, links to shady sites, scammy messages, software offers, and so on.
